13.Jan.2012 It’s Bitsy Tenny Speedos
Mark Loher woke up grateful for a sunny, mild afternoon as he walked way downtown Santa Rosa’s transit mall in a skimpy swimsuit last Friday and offered $2 bills to bus riders.
A sales director with the local Internet provider Sonic.net, Loher, was dedicated to pulling off the stunt while even just had the cold, because of the miserable rain that has been blowing through the bus corridor like ice bullets. That is the reason why he was really overjoyed to catch a few rays the next day.
A number of the folks he approached while clutching a few of 50 $2 bills received him really warmly as like the spring-like weather and a few, not unexpectedly, blew him off their paths.
He said that he got every response from those that even ask ‘Can I have two?’ to ‘I don’t care if you’re giving away money, stay away from me!’
Loher, who is a fit and good-natured fellow that is almost his 50’s, only wore on him his Speedo and doled cash at the bus mall because that is what he promised his Sonic sales staff that he would do if the team bore down and met or exceeded its most recent sales goal. And they did.
Quite a lot of Loher’s colleagues came along to savor the sight of him confronting strangers in this most unusual way and asking if he might offer to help them with bus fare. A number of dumbfounded looks on faces broke into wide smiles as folks noticed the backside of his red suit was inscribed with the “Sonic.net” logo.
Loher’s Colleague David Brown said Loher’s performance really was a pleasure to behold because, along with the people who wanted no part of his offer, were some who accepted a $2 bill and glowed at the random if peculiar act of kindness
