17.Jun.2010 Luxury holidays in Cyprus involves countryside exploration
Vacationers spending luxury holidays in Cyprus have been advised by country’s travel officials to explore the countryside to see the breathtaking view of some of the country’s travel spots and even try out samples of the local cuisine.
Cyprus Tourism Organization spokesperson Lillian Panayi said that there are a lot of great local food and other tourist spots in the country that should be enjoyed by both local and international tourists.
Panayi said that there are three hundred sunshine days in a year which accounts for the abundance of food throughout the year, where tourists can eat the freshest foods available.
The official stressed that it would be a “mistake” for tourists not to drive into the countryside and discover more wonders of Cyprus.
The Cyprus Tourism Organization has conducted a research which showed that 58 percent of people like to dine out at the countryside while on a holiday in the country.
