28.Jul.2010 Thinking of bringing your smartphone on holiday? Think again
A survey by a leading Institute has revealled that company bosses and supervisors who tend to carry smartphones or advanced mobile phones during their holidays are most likely to suffer more anxiety when they return for work than before they even left for vacation.

- Stress free holiday?
A survey conducted by the Institute of Leadership and Management revealed that respondents tend to get more anxious because the messages they’ve received in their smartphones may reveal problems from work that arose when they were on vacation.
About a third of the respondents said that they tend to respond to emails using their smartphones even though they are supposed to be resting some place else. Almost fifty percent of the respondents answer phone calls while ten percent feel they have no choice but to go to the office to sort out the problems.
The study and survey concluded that the trend of having to “rest and unwind” in holiday terms is drastically declining due to the emergence of modern forms of communication.
